Compact Lifting Equipment LLC Customer Portal. Last updated: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between Compact Lifting Equipment LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company with its principal place of business at 401 W. High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464 ("CLE," "we," "us"), and the business entity accessing the CLE Customer Portal ("Customer," "you").
If you access the Portal on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms, and "you" means both you individually and that company.
The Portal is an account-management tool. Through it you may apply for a rental account, submit business and financial information, upload documents, review and sign rental agreements, request equipment, and view quotes, invoices, and rental history.
The Portal is not the rental contract.Equipment rentals are governed by the CLE Master Bare Rental Agreement, the CLE Master Operated and Maintained Rental Agreement, and any applicable rental order or quote (together, the "Rental Agreements"). If anything in these Terms conflicts with a signed Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement controls as to that rental.
CLE rents bare equipment. CLE does not provide job estimating, bidding, lift planning, or engineering services through the Portal. Capacity information, load charts, and any planning tools made available are reference aids only.
You must be at least 18 and using the Portal for business purposes. The Portal is not intended for consumers or personal, family, or household use.
Account access is managed through a third-party authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at inbound@cleamerica.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
Accounts are issued to individuals on behalf of a Customer company. CLE controls which users are associated with which company account and may require verification before linking an additional user to an existing company.
Access to the Portal does not by itself establish a rental account, credit terms, or any obligation by CLE to rent equipment to you.
To open a rental account you may be asked for business identification, tax identification numbers, financial and trade references, insurance certificates, tax-exemption certificates, and, where an individual provides a personal guarantee, personal information including Social Security number and date of birth.
You represent that all information you submit is accurate and complete, that you have authority to submit it, and that where you submit information about another individual (including a guarantor or an employee), you have that individual's authorization to do so.
CLE may verify, re-verify, and periodically revalidate any information you provide.
If you apply for credit terms, the authorizations and disclosures presented in the credit application govern CLE's collection and use of business credit reports and, where an individual signs a personal guarantee or provides personal information, consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Those authorizations are separate from and in addition to these Terms.
CLE may approve, decline, condition, suspend, or revoke credit terms at its discretion, subject to applicable law. Nothing here obligates CLE to extend credit.
By using the Portal you consent to receive account records, agreements, notices, and disclosures electronically, and you agree that electronic signatures you apply through the Portal or through CLE's e-signature provider have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures under the federal ESIGN Act and Pennsylvania's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
You may withdraw this consent by contacting inbound@cleamerica.com. Because the Portal operates electronically, withdrawing consent may require closing your Portal account; your records will then be handled on paper by request.
To access electronic records you need a current web browser and the ability to receive email at the address on your account. You may request paper copies of executed agreements at inbound@cleamerica.com.
Rental charges, delivery, damage waiver, taxes, and other amounts are set out in your quote, rental order, invoice, and applicable Rental Agreement. The Portal displays those amounts; it does not itself set prices.
Payment terms (including prepayment or net terms) are determined by CLE based on your account standing. Late payment terms, including any service charge on past-due balances, are as stated in your credit application and Rental Agreements.
The Portal does not process payments.
You agree not to: access the Portal without authorization or attempt to access another company's data; submit false, forged, or altered documents; upload malicious code; scrape, probe, or stress-test the Portal; reverse engineer it; or use it to violate law or the rights of others.
CLE may suspend or terminate access for violation of this section, for non-payment, or for conduct that creates risk to CLE, its equipment, or other customers.
You retain ownership of documents and information you upload. You grant CLE a license to store, process, transmit, and use that material to operate the Portal, evaluate and service your account, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and enforce agreements between us.
CLE may retain records after account closure as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by law.
The Portal, its software, design, and content are owned by CLE or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Portal for your own account management. No other rights are granted.
The Portal relies on third-party providers for authentication, identity and business verification, credit reporting, electronic signature, document storage, accounting, and error monitoring. Their handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. CLE is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties beyond its reasonable control.
The Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CLE does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. Scheduled and unscheduled downtime will occur.
Portal unavailability does not excuse any obligation under a Rental Agreement, including obligations relating to equipment in your possession.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLE disclaims all warranties not expressly stated here or in a signed Rental Agreement, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, as to the Portal.
Warranties concerning equipment, if any, are governed exclusively by the applicable Rental Agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of use, delay, work stoppage, or business interruption, arising out of your use of the Portal, even if advised of the possibility.
CLE's total liability arising out of the Portal will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and does not alter the liability, indemnity, or insurance provisions of any Rental Agreement, which govern equipment rentals.
You will indemnify and hold harmless CLE and its members, officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your submission of inaccurate or unauthorized information, or your misuse of the Portal.
Either party may terminate Portal access at any time. CLE may suspend or terminate immediately for non-payment, suspected fraud, or breach.
Termination of Portal access does not terminate a Rental Agreement, does not relieve you of amounts owed, and does not affect CLE's rights regarding equipment in your possession. Sections 4, 5, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17, and 18 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts serving Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, credit application authorizations, and any Rental Agreement, are the entire agreement about the Portal. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. CLE's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without CLE's written consent; CLE may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganization of its business.
CLE may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date and, where required, notified to account holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
